Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults in the United States age 18 and older, or 18.1% of the population every year. (Anxiety and Depression Association of America)

 

When I worked toward my MA in Counseling, I was fortunate enough to have breakfast with some of my fellow students and head professor. He explained to me that anxiety was so very difficult to heal because there was no “source” to be found. As he told me this, I was aghast that a professor could be so disconnected from himself. Yet, too often in the cognitive world, if you can’t “think” the answers in your head, then it doesn’t exist.

 

And, as many of you know, as you learn to come into the body and read the energy held there, you can more easily discover the source of your anxiety and thus are more able to find solutions and deep healing. Anxiety is truly the energetic portal that can reconnect you to your inner wisdom and bigger essence, as you learn how. I hope this video and my blog will provide you with the foundation to awaken to the cause and the solutions to your anxiety challenges.

Anxiety is a fear response where a part of our ego-based false self isn’t feeling safe. Yet, if you don’t find the internal cause of anxiety, it can “rev” your metaphorical car’s engine as it has the brake on while at the same time you are hitting the gas. It can wreak havoc on your nervous system, digestive system and ability to sleep at night. Yet, anxiety can be the energetic charge to create solutions so you can address the issues.

 

Source 1: Attachment System/Relationships

If you feel unsafe within because you are being projected upon, unfairly judged, rejected, or attacked, anxiety will surely follow. There is much to say on this first source of anxiety so let me stick to the highlights.

The key point is that your ego and your nervous system/brain will send out an alarm of danger if you even think any of the above relationship challenges are in play. So I want to normalize many of the anxiety responses you get. So don’t get anxious about getting anxious. Instead, focus on the solution.

Discover the skills to feel differentiated and individualized from your false self’s ego response. This will means that you need to learn how to have your own back, and become your own authority. For instance, you need to determine your inner value. Letting other’s define your worth is the quickest way to give away your power. Stand up, speak up and don’t be afraid to say or even shout no more! Make it clear that you are not available for their inaccurate judgments, disrespect and cruelty. The skill needed in all three of these solutions is to self-identify as your true essence (Core Being - wholeness).

 

Source 2 – You are Judging You Because You Are Imperfect or Made a Mistake

Discover how to be kind to your human for he or she will never be perfect and will eventually make a mistake. As you learn to self-identify as your Core Being, and send love, wisdom and kindness to your human, you will be able to transform the anxiety into positive action. For if you are a spiritual being, and on a path of deeper awakening, you will want to lean into your mistakes for mistakes are where we learn and grow the most. Discover the skills to be kind to your human, self-identify as your bigger Core Being, and help your human heal and awaken to a higher vibration. (Outlined below are some events to assist you on this path.)

 

Source 3 – Life is Not Going Your Way

 

When it feels like things are not going your way, consider the concept of the wave – it expands and then it contracts. Again, normalize that there will be ups and downs and that the downward challenge does NOT define your inner value. It is an opportunity to reveal shadow material that is hidden in the subconscious mind. As you reveal the subconscious material in your way, it can show you what needs adjusting and deeper healing. In fact, it is an excellent time to understand more about your inner saboteur that can prevent you from fully spreading your wings.
